New Life Kid's Ministry

Our goal is to help the next generation fall in love with Jesus through being in His presence, word, and community.
Being with Jesus, following Jesus, and becoming like Jesus is the one cure for our world!

We are here to encounter Jesus with our kids. We are here to teach and train them in The Spirit of God, give them the opportunity to know the fullness of His Kingdom and to train them to be disciples of Jesus. This is not in place of ‘big church’ but in addition to, equal to and partnering with ‘big church’!

WE WORSHIP TOGETHER

Worship is a core value at New Life, therefore
our kids are in the worship service every Sunday! The best way for them to learn the value and pleasure of being in God's presence is through experience, observation & immersion.
You are welcome to have your kids be with you during this time of worship or we have a section just for kids supervised by a teacher or designated parent! When they are checked into Kid's Church they join in with singing, dancing, praying, and drawing!
When the sermon begins the Kids are dismissed and are taught a lesson tailored to their age group.

THE SAME TODAY, YESTERDAY & FOREVER

There is no junior Holy Spirit! Our kids are smart, open, and braver than we could ever imagine! When we introduce kids to Holy Spirit and humble ourselves, we will learn much more about God’s kingdom than we could ever teach! Therefore, just as we are here to teach, show and provide an environment of encountering the Spirit of God, we are here to learn, receive and encounter His kingdom in each child coming.

JESUS is THE WORD

We emphasize the Bible with our kids. Since our goal is to be disciples of Jesus, reading and knowing Him through His book is crucial. We encourage those of reading age to look up scriptures as we teach, read them out and read on their own. The joy of life is that we get to incentivize this with special prizes! (every kid leaves with a small gift and those who bring their bible get an additional special prize.) This is not to encourage performance but to reveal in kid language the importance of Jesus and His Word.

We utilize a nametag system to ensure the safety of our little ones. From nursery to 5th grade, you will sign using our 'Check-in' computer in the lobby. You will receive a name tag for each child checked in and a code tag for pick up. This pick-up tag is very important for security as you will need it to pick your kids up at the end of the service. Check-in opens an hour before the 10:00AM service. (You can check-in early on the Church Center app and print your tags when you get here!)

Nursery & Preschool

We are blessed to have our little ones in worship with us! This includes Nursery and Preschool!
Kids will be dismissed after worship. (Around 11:00 AM)
We have a wonderful Kids Ministry Team that will teach a lesson, give a snack, and pray with our little disciples!
Pick-up is around 12:00 PM (or within 15 minutes of services end)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

We are blessed to have our little ones in worship with us! This includes Kindergarten - 5th graders!
Kids will be dismissed after worship. (Around 11:00 AM)
We have a wonderful Kids Ministry Team that will teach a lesson, give a snack, and pray with our Mighty disciples!
They will connect about what happened during our worship time, learn how to use their Bibles, memorize scripture, and become a disciple of Jesus!
Pick-up is around 12:00 PM (or within 15 minutes of services end)
